Profile
I'm Sol Garcia Gimenez, a frontend developer who ships complete products: mobile apps, stores owners run themselves, and tools that replace manual work. At Webbzi, my own studio, I've taken projects from zero to production alone, handling design, frontend, serverless backend and deployment.
Before that I built websites at Neoxid, a digital agency in Barcelona, and made a complex, science-driven product feel clear and trustworthy at Insectius, a biotech company serving an international audience.
I build with intent: every decision serves performance, user experience and a consistent feel across every device. I treat each project as something that has to work in the real world, not just look good in a browser. I do my best work inside a team, but I'm comfortable owning a feature or a whole product when that's what's needed.

Experience
I run my own studio, taking products from idea to production: design, frontend, serverless backend and deploy. Built MemoBebe, an installable iOS/Android app with AI chat (Gemini) and in-app subscriptions (RevenueCat). Delivered a full-stack fashion store and a car dealership platform, both with self-service admin panels so non-technical owners manage their own content with no developer involved after handoff. Turned a manual quoting process into an instant budget calculator. Delivered client websites across healthcare, retail and services, each shaped to its own brand. Stack: React, TypeScript, Astro, Tailwind, with Supabase or Cloudflare backends and Capacitor for mobile.
Built and maintained the web interfaces for Insectius, a biotech company turning the Black Soldier Fly into sustainable insect protein using AI and automation. The challenge was making something highly technical feel credible and approachable to an international audience of partners and clients. I focused on clean, responsive layouts, fast load times and a consistent experience across devices and languages, keeping the site aligned with the company's professional, science-driven image.
At Neoxid, a digital agency in Barcelona, I worked across web design, frontend development and graphic design for clients in multiple sectors. I translated mockups into pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces with close attention to accessibility, SEO and performance. The agency pace meant running several projects in parallel and meeting real deadlines, where I learned to move fast without cutting corners and to adapt my work to each brand's identity.
